The fish is delivered daily direct from the boats in Aberdeen. The meat is purchased at the local Award Winning Butchers. Fresh fruit and vegetables are delivered every morning. All food is sourced locally when ever possible, in the summer months delicious strawberries and raspberries from the berry fields of Carse of Gowrie are offered.
The menu includes old and new dishes ranging from the hotels highly acclaimed signature dish of Fresh Haddock coated in the Meilkleour hotels own beer and spring water batter to a Daily Specials Blackboard, we always have fresh salmon available & often offer local game when in season. The food is best described as Imaginative bistro fare with the accent on homemade'.

Meikleour Arms has a characterful intimate dining area with seven tables accommodating up to 25 guests enhanced by a lovely log fire in the winter.
It is open to non-residents. Booking is advisable !
